In an emergency, contact Security by dialling extension 6 on internal telephones or by dialling (freecall) 1800 249 559. This service is available 24 hours a day. Security offices are located near the front entrances to main buildings.

The UTS Security Services Branch has established procedures for the evacuation of buildings in an emergency.



Crisis Management Planning

The University of Technology, Sydney recognizes that while every effort is made to minimize risks, a residual will always remain. To ensure the safety of people and to minimize the interruption to the University, a UTS Crisis Management Plan has been developed. This Plan is endorsed by the Vice Chancellor and allocates responsibilities to ensure that emergency/crisis response preparedness is maintained.
