Overview

If you want to see the future of teaching and learning at UTS, take a look at areas in the podium extension of Building 6.

When the construction of the new student residential tower rising from the existing Building 6 podium was complete, the university extended the existing Building 6 podium to create new teaching, learning and social spaces for staff and students.

While Levels 5 and 7 are dedicated teaching facilities for Faculty of Design, Architecture and Built Environment. A range of informal learning and general teaching spaces are situated on Levels 3, 4 and 6.

Over these 5 levels, the new look spaces feature integrated technology, polished concrete floors, bold colours and exposed finishes.

Features

  • The refurbishment and extension of the CB06 podium provides 6,700m² of new teaching and social space for UTS
  • A new cafe at ground level will help animate the Ultimo Pedestrian Network (UPN)
