The safety of staff, students and visitors and the protection of property and buildings is the primary role of Campus Security Services.
This is accomplished by providing regular patrols of buildings and grounds, and through campus awareness and crime prevention programs.
Campus security responds to students on campus and to calls for assistance.
Campus security operates one of the largest access and alarm management systems in Australia, with over 800 controlled doors and 22,000 users, complemented by a CCTV network of 300 cameras.
In an emergency contact Security on extension '6' on internal phones or freecall on 1800 249 559 and follow emergency procedures. This service is available 24 hours a day. Security offices are located near the front entrances to main buildings.
