Crisis Management Planning

The University of Technology, Sydney recognizes that while every effort is made to minimize risks, a residual will always remain. To ensure the safety of people and to minimize the interruption to the University, a UTS Crisis Management Plan has been developed. This Plan is endorsed by the Vice Chancellor and allocates responsibilities to ensure that emergency/crisis response preparedness is maintained.

Prevention

Prevention is the best cure for an emergency so be aware of the requirements and directives on smoking (Smoke Free Environment Act 2000 & Management of the University Campus Public Spaces and Facilities), using portable appliances and electrical leads at UTS and UTS Housing.
