Missing Persons

If you wish to report a UTS Student as a Missing Person, please dial 000 or City Central LAC on 9265 6499. Also, please contact UTS Security on 9514 1192 and speak to the duty Supervisor.

Once a student has been recognised as missing by NSW Police and UTS, NSW Police (in conjunction with UTS) shall contact the Missing Person's next of kin.

Any contact information provided as part of a Missing Person report will be registered confidentially. This information will be accessible only to authorised campus officials and may not be disclosed, except to NSW Police personnel in continuation of a Missing Person investigation.

If information that is provided relates to a Missing Person who is under 18 years of age, UTS must notify a custodial parent or guardian within 24 hours of the determination that the UTS Student is missing, in addition to notifying any additional contact person designated by the UTS Student.

UTS will notify NSW Police within 24 hours of the determination that the UTS Student is missing, unless NSW Police was the agency that made the determination that the UTS Student is missing.

The UTS Kuring-gai Security Office is located at the front entrance of Kuring-gai Campus, Building 1, Level 5 (KG01).

UTS Kuring-gai Security offers a security escort service. An escort can be arranged by contacting the Security Office on ext 5551. 

On-campus Security at the Kuring-gai Campus is available:

• Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 10:00pm;
• Saturday - Sunday, 8:00am - 6:00pm.

Access to Campus

Semester and Semester Break: Open Monday to Friday 0730-2140hrs. Staff and Students without PIN access must vacate the Campus by 2145hrs as the car parks are locked at this time.

Weekend and Public Holidays - during semester and in semester breaks: Open Monday to Friday 0800-1800hrs. Staff and Students without PIN access must vacate the Campus by 1730hrs as the car parks are locked at this time.

The UTS City Campus to Kuring-gai Campus Shuttle Bus service operates from Monday to Friday.
