About the project

This project transforms a public space into a new area for students undertaking both individual and group work. Sitting alongside the existing computer terminals are semi-enclosed workgroup areas, LCD monitors with full connectivity and a workbench accommodating up to 25 students.

Key features

  • The provision of group learning and informal study spaces form part of UTS’s new approach to learning and learning on campus
  • Additional power and technical infrastructure will facilitate laptop and other IT/AV equipment use
  • LCD screens will be able to connect to a range of devices, including laptops and portable media players
  • New carpet and glass wall to existing classroom (4.22)
